Sr. Manager, Creative Data Strategy

Position Summary
Do you love numbers? Are you meticulous about the details and yet want to develop the 10,000 ft view? Do you enjoy a fast-paced team? We are looking for a Creative Metrics & Reporting Manager to join the Walmart Creative Studio as part of the growing Creative Business Operations team.
You are an entrepreneurial leader who understands how to build strong relationships and influence at both the peer and senior leadership level, translating complex data and analytic requirements into simple concepts that inspire buy-in. You will drive cross functional collaboration to support key business priorities with a focus on translating data related to the Walmart Creative Studio into actional insights and recommendations.
In this role you will help define the strategic framework and roadmap for internal creative data reporting across multiple data sets, build out the discipline and processes, and help develop and govern ways of working to ensure accurate/consistent creative data collection, processing, modeling, and analysis. You will help identify insights and optimization opportunities across different data sets and lead reporting sprints to develop reports and presentations for Creative Studio Leadership.
To achieve this, you will partner closely with internal and partner teams as well as subject matter experts to define shared goals, KPI metrics, and implement the right model and cadence for reporting to different audiences within the Creative Studio and cross-org partners including; Creative Business Operations, Creative Account Management, Creative Project Management, Integrated Production, Creative, MarTech, Marketing Operations, and Finance.
Responsibilities
Define and lead strategic creative data strategy and roadmap, including org-level KPIs, for the Creative Studio.
Audit Creative Studio metadata across all tools and platforms, publishing standard metadata schema to inform all future creative data tracking and reporting.
Deliver comprehensive reporting and insights for org-KPIs, in addition to reporting for priority Creative Studio initiatives.
Develop recommendations for Walmart Creative Studio leadership that drives key business decisions and strategic growth.
Oversee design, build and delivery of reports & insights that analyze business functions, key operations, and performance metrics.
Partner with internal teams to develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards that ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure accuracy of data and reporting deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes.
Examine, interpret, and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in creative leadership, marketing, and product teams.
Manage and optimize creative data intake, validation, modeling, visualization, comms of deliverables.
Collaborate with internal teams and partners to design, configure, and launch a new end-to-end project management tool that tracks and reports on core creative data.
Oversee data/report request process: tracking submitted requests, prioritization, approval, etc.
Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Provide support to key business priorities to enable more informed decisions, and partner with Operational leads and other senior stakeholders to implement recommended optimizations across the business.
Qualifications
Analytical expertise with at least 5 years of working experience in a strategic data, metrics and/or analytical position within a creative or marketing team.
At least 2 years of experience managing people/a team.
Experience working in data strategy in a fast-paced and complex business setting.
Experience with a wide range of data to develop and analyze financial and operational metrics.
Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
Strong deck/narrative building and presentation skills to educate, influence buy-in, and drive change management.
Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills.
Nice to have
Knowledge of SAS code statements, models, and macros
Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Experience working within Creative Marketing and / or Production
Experience with the following tools/programs:
Query languages: SLQ, SAS, etc.
Experience with testing tools such as Adobe Test & Target, Google Looker
Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js, etc.
Experience with Adobe Analytics and other analytics tools
Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
