What to Expect

Consider before submitting an application:   

This position is expected to start around January or February 2025 and continue through the entire Spring term (i.e. through May 2025) or into Summer 2025 if available. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships.  

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the Team

The Design Studio content team is responsible for defining and upholding the Tesla tone of voice within customer-facing content across channels. We help determine where, when and how we speak to customers and Tesla owners, sharing the latest product updates, educating on new features and more across our vehicle and energy products. Our team is seeking an intern who wants to help us solve meaningful problems. As a Digital Content intern, you will create, track and analyze content for a range of Tesla products and channels. 

What You’ll Do
Support the Design Studio content and copywriting team globally in the development of emails, web pages, in-app messages, etc.   

Write copy for customer-facing communications based on briefs or outlines provided by stakeholders throughout the business 

Proofread and edit drafted copy from internal teams and ensure accuracy 

Adhere to project deadlines and communicate milestones to project partners  

Monitor the success of our web efforts with analytics tracking and reporting 

Help monitor and track the progress of large campaigns and web development efforts 

Help manage timelines and ensure progress on projects in our project management system 

What You’ll Bring
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or a related field 

Excellent copywriting and editing skills 

Strong attention to detail 

Experience using Google Analytics 

Strong communications skills, written and verbal 

Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines 

Creative mindset 

Experience writing for school newspaper
