What to ExpectAs a Senior Logistics & Fleet Planner, you will be responsible for reducing finished goods on hand, managing our Fleet of PIT, trailers and Semis and keeping them in working order and minimums down time at GFNY manufacturing and warehouse. This team member will be required to manage our Fleet at two sites, manage forklift repair techs, and Finished Good days on hand targets.What You’ll DoReduce days on hand of Finished Goods by working closely with Fulfillment Planners and Logistics to create a balance approach across a 24-7 manufacturing spaceSchedule and maintain periodic maintenance and inspection for all Semis, trailers, and PIT operatingFor all rented fleet, work with the vendor to make sure repairs are done in a timely mannerMinimize down time for the fleetManage a team of forklift repair technician. Create, Standardized work Instruction, create Pre task plans so that safety is always the priority What You’ll BringDegree in Business, Math, or Engineering or equivalent experienceStrong understanding of Fulfillment PlanningStrong understanding of Logistics and truckload utilizationExperience negotiating and holding vendors accountableGeneral mechanical knowledge of PIT, semis, and trailersSound understanding of SQL, MySql, and ExcelExperience managing employees and holding them accountable
