What to Expect
The Engineering Technician is tasked with understanding andimproving processes to ensure manufacturing lines produce quality productssafely and efficiently.  This role willinteract with many cross functional teams and will require flexibility tosupport Engineering, Quality, New Product Introduction (NPI) and additionalorganizations.  A Engineering tech is the go-to person to evaluate necessary changes to the line, support quick fixes andto improve line reliability. 
What You’ll Do
Provide daily coverage of production line processes to ensure smooth and effective operations, including a rapid response to out-of-control processes to minimize cost and maximize productivity by investigating and implementing countermeasures to improve product yield
Evaluate equipment performance on regular basis. Implement preventive actions to avoid premature failures on the equipment

Perform inspection tasks using templates, fixtures, inspection sheets. Update and develop inspection sheets for PAs to use to ensure quality control plan is being met.

Lead special case disposition of Non-Conformance materials produced by the production line and escalate to the production engineering team as needed
Perform Quality Audits to proactively identify potential issues working with the quality engineering organization.
Design, manufacture and install your own ideas and implementing a rigorous system of poke-yokes to lower cost and increase rate.
Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing process by applying Root Cause Analysis methodologies.

What You’ll Bring
Hands on experience on joining technology,mechatronic or robotics is highly preferred
Skilled with the use of a variety of hand andportable tools
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanicaldrawings and electrical schematics 
3D CAD design & printing is preferred

Root Cause Analysis methodologies experience is preferred. SPC knowledge is a plus.

GD&T knowledge is a plus.
