About this opportunity:

The vision of the process engineering team is to add value to every process. In every engagement design/redesign a feasible process, recommend a viable product solution – to ease and elevate experiences for Vendor, TM and Guest. Think holistically, keeping retail fundamentals at the core.

The Lead Process Engineer is an independent contributor that reports to the Director – Process Engineering. This role will work alongside team members from the business to understand the current state, upstream and downstream processes, then identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to policy, process and technology to impact business outcomes positively. Through their partnership with various cross functional teams this role will support key enterprise initiatives as well as build an environment that reinforces continuous improvement of business processes, increases consistency, reduces guest pain points and empowers other team members to enhance the value of the service they provide. This person will play a critical role in enabling leverage of intelligent automation tools (RPA, Chatbot, AI/ML, GenAI) to drive efficiency & guest experience.

As a Lead Process Engineer, you will need to have the experience and skills to:

Take a hands-on approach to conduct process diagnostics using lean and six sigma tools
Drive A3 problem solving projects and conducting value stream mapping workshops
Identify impactful opportunities for operational improvements across end-to-end value streams
Gather information and perform data analysis to evaluate best fit approach of either problem solving or process reimagination
Facilitate journey mapping and human centred design thinking workshops
Lead small and large project groups  (junior to senior management) to drive changes that impact business
Deliver lean and six sigma trainings as needed
Utilize problem solving efforts on key projects to improve quality, reduce cost and eliminate waste
Run working sessions with business stakeholders that drive conclusions, agreements and outcomes
Create regular reports on performance against project initiatives and goals
Translates business needs into requirements, respecting a guest-centric perspective and end-to-end design vision.
Conduct cost benefit analysis for all recommendations
Coach process teams on standard lean systems, tools, techniques, mindsets and behaviors
Coach senior management and partner teams in the use of practice methodologies and tools
Work with the Director of Process Engineering, develop and execute detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Provides leaders with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key process focused objectives
Create transformation roadmaps
Perform other related duties as assigned or required 

Requirements:

Master’s Degree; from a prestigious institution like IIM, ISB would be preferable
Bachelor’s Degree; from a prestigious institution like IIT, REC or equivalent
Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a process improvement role
Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Certified or has demonstrated knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Powerpoint, Excel)
Proficient with Minitab
Ability to effectively deliver outcomes for the activities and objectives listed above.
