What You’ll Do
Support commissioning engineer throughout project life cycle (pre-design, design, construction, and start-up phase) to ensure electrical system functions in accordance with the design intent and Plant Operation requirements
Lead new installation inspection prior to equipment start-up and ensure installation meets National Electrical Code, state and local building code, and Tesla standards
Produce as-built drawings markups for delivery to the design team for Record drawing preparation
Install, terminates, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical equipment, components and raceway utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills
Consulting manuals, reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematic, and blueprints
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and components
Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment
What You’ll Bring
Technical Degree in Electrician, Electrical or Electronic, or equivalent experience
Completion of electrician apprenticeship program or working towards it
3-5 years of experience as a hands-on technician or related field working on electrical equipment and material installation
In-depth knowledge in Lock-out-tag-out and isolating electrical hazard
Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480VAC
Working knowledge in using hand tools, multi-meters, and testing equipment
Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
