As a Communications Business Partner, you will lead the social media strategy for Target in India working with internal teams to gather and curate content that builds and reinforces Target’s distinctive positioning. You will also support businesses and functions in identifying the right external speakers for internal and external events. In addition, you will support the communication requirements of specific pyramids (businesses), helping drive internal communication campaigns that help strengthen the team member experience and strengthen our culture of care, grow and win together, while creating impact internally and externally.

As a Communications Business Partner, you will handle:

Social Media: Develop and execute a measurable social media strategy for Target in India across channels, including proactively and reactively identifying opportunities, running an annual content calendar, developing content in partnership with internal teams and optimising the company’s social media handles.
Speaker Curation: You will be responsible for maintaining a current and active repository of speakers (industry experts, thought leaders and inspirational personalities) for internal and external events that meet the event objectives. This includes partnering with the business/functions hosting the event and the speaker bureau to deliver impact and relationship management with the speaker through the event.
Business Partnership:  You will be a communication client lead for a couple of pyramids (functional areas). Through strong partnerships with stakeholders and support teams, you will help deliver on their internal and external communication requirements in collaboration with other communication team members.
Project Management: You will be accountable for the internal and external campaigns for the identified pyramids as also the social media campaign.  This includes but is not limited to award submissions, development of case studies, contributed articles, tracking posts, etc 
Collaboration and Innovation: Maintain strong inter-personal relationships with
stakeholders and collaborate with teams and leaders across the enterprise to further the enterprise and communication goals. You will work towards bringing an innovative and creative approach to all projects and campaigns, while keeping a focus on positive growth and bringing Target’s strategy and story to life. As a member of the communications team, you will partner and collaborate with your peers in support of each other’s goals. Externally, you will help showcase Target as the best place to work, a D&I champion and a mature GCC doing path-breaking work in retail, through social media.

Requirements

Minimum of 7-9 years’ experience in the communications field
Master’s degree from a premier institute, preferably in Communications,Advertising or Public Relations
Preferable experience with a GCC and/or in retail
Experience in managing social media strategy and campaigns across social media platforms for organisations
Experience with social media tools, including for measurement and impact
Experience in speaker outreach and curation for internal and external events
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong presence on social media
Ability to build a communication strategy towards enterprise-wide initiatives, that help team members connect with the Target brand in India
Ability to work independently while maintaining a strong relationship with stakeholders
Good networking skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while successfully delivering results withinstipulated timelines
Ability to work in and with a team.
