At its core, Roundel is about using Target’s rich insights to create smart, personalized advertising campaigns that bring guests more of the products and offers they love. That moment when guests are prepping for their Target run and see exactly the right online offer at just the right time? That’s Roundel. It works on Target’s platforms, like Target.com and our mobile app, as well as going beyond to connect our partners with guests across more than 150 premium publishers and channels (think: Pinterest, PopSugar and NBC Universal). We work with some of the largest brands and advertising agencies in the world to create a unique experience for our guests’ digital journey.

As a Paid Search Manager you will play a critical role in leading day-to-day management and optimization of Target digital media campaigns across paid search media channels, including, but not limited to Google, Bing and Pinterest. You will be accountable to executing scalable tactics to drive brand, engagement and performance results.  You will commonly perform custom analysis, develop reporting/insights and communicate results to partners and key stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for developing consistent processes and execution techniques to help streamline our go-to market activation strategies, including but not limited to: campaign set-up, content planning, audience segmentation, bidding strategies and budget/performance pacing. You are expected to keep pace with paid search and overall digital marketing trends and translate relevant industry developments into enterprise strategies for Target.

The candidate for this role must have a data-driven approach and up-to-date with technological advancements that will make Target, first-to-market in the digital media space. You will focus on process efficiencies in order to ensure goals are consistently achieved. Ability to multi-task with an eye for detail is a must.

About you :

Relevant work experience or academic accomplishments related to Advertising, Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related concepts.

5+ years of experience in SEM/Paid Search/Paid Social and/or product feed-based advertising management and execution.

Activation and media strategy experience with paid search and/or social platforms including, but not limited to: Google Ads, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter.

Experience in direct response media (specifically Product Ads, Shopping Ads, Paid Social), with optimization and measurement geared toward driving digital conversion.

Detailed knowledge and experience with paid search and paid social bid management platforms (i.e. Search Ads 360, Skai, Marin, etc.)

Intimate knowledge of technical aspects of configuration, optimization and measurement of paid search campaigns activated to drive eCommerce sales (i.e. pixels, attribution, prospecting vs. retargeting, etc.).

Advanced computer skills, including high-level proficiency in Excel (including, but not limited to, pivot tables and VLookups).

Strong analytical skills with experience in a variety of analytics tools including Adobe and/or Google Analytics.

Comfortable navigating through ambiguity with a strong sense of prioritization for action.

Excellent problem solving skills with high levels of autonomy and self-motivation.

Highly detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills while managing multiple projects.
