What you’ll do…
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Process Improvement for our Non-Store Pharmacy Central Fill Operations, in Plainfield, IN. The Sr. Manager, Process Improvement develops initiatives and processes for key business functions to drive business goals, objectives and programs by analyzing data and evaluating key business components in order to assess current performance baselines; identifying gaps, opportunities, and needed improvements in key business functions; evaluating and updating current practices on a continuous basis; developing improvement solutions; ensuring program processes are simple, executable, and sustainable.  The role involves cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and effective communication to get alignment on improvement solutions.​
About the team:
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.  Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is fully automated allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
This position requires onsite presence and does not offer remote work options. Candidates must be flexible to work outside of standard Monday – Friday / 8-5pm rotation advance notice as needed for training and/or business operational needs. Candidate must also be able to travel to other Central Fill campuses 25%-50% of the time. The other campuses are in Rogers-AR, Frederick- MD, Spring-TX, Orlando-FL.
What you’ll do:
Manages process improvement projects by evaluating and determining improvement needs with a focus on eliminating, automating, or optimizing processes
Partner with cross-functional teams to develop the operational strategy to simplify processes
Provide guidance and expertise on company policies, practices, and procedures ; ensuring proper controls, tools, and materials are present in order to enhance behavior change
Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of the processes
Monitor program performance in relation to metrics and identify post-implementation issues and concerns
Develop and gain buy-in on changes and resolutions.
What you’ll bring:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, including experience leading process improvement initiatives.
Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Agile.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and analyze complex data sets.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Leading and mentoring Six Sigma projects
Black Belt – Six Sigma Certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of hiring
Bachelor’s degree in finance, HR, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field with 4 years’ experience in consulting, project management, business strategy
OR
6 years’ experience in consulting, project management, business strategy
2 years experience leading cross functional teams

The annual salary range for this position is $79,000.00-$169,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
