Join us!TheSr. Business Control Specialistwill provide analytical support in executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within the Preferred business. Proactively review targeted topics or teams for the identification of issues and areas of opportunity for ongoing risk mitigation within the business. Analyze key metrics and risk drivers to gather and organize data in order to test the effectiveness of key controls. Prepare documentation for the tracking, monitoring, and escalation of risk related issues to management. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture.Additional responsibilities may include:- Leading and executing Preferred Tactical Risk Assessments (PTRAT)- Support the research and response to regulatory and audit inquiries- Testing and research support for existing audit issues- Other ad-hoc Business Controls functions, as requiredRequired Qualifications:Understanding of Preferred (Consumer Investments, Financial Center, Preferred Lending) clientsKnowledge of Preferred internal policies and proceduresProject management experienceProficient with Consumer Investments and/or Consumer Banking systemsStrong analytical skillsAble to drive root cause analysis and demonstrate a strong attention to detailAbility to work on multiple projects, with flexibility to adjust to shifting prioritiesAbove average written communication and oral presentation skills, including documentation of findings and delivery of recommendationsComfort in challenging the status quo to identify opportunities that will develop and refine our policies and proceduresMust be able to handle highly confidential information in a strictly professional mannerAbove average experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel & SharePointProven ability to meet multiple time deadlinesAble to self motivate and able to work independentlyDesired Qualifications:Business Controls, Quality Assurance, or Audit experience a plusAble to navigate and interpret Enterprise Policy and StandardExperience working with the Single Process InventoryExperience with data analysis and reportingEnterprise Job Description:This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF).
