What you’ll do…
Network Operations :
Requires knowledge of:
Network Monitoring and Alerting tools; Monitoring Metrics and KPIs(for example Availability, Mean time between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Recover (MTTR) etc.); Service Level Indicator (SLIs) (for example request latency, availability, error rate etc.)
To monitor network performance and highlight areas for further review to optimize network performance. Suggest metrics to monitor network performance effectively. Monitors current performance data to ensure adherence to defined SLOs for multiple network applications/systems. Determine thresholds for the monitoring metrics and trigger alerts based on those thresholds.
Network Maintenance:
Requires knowledge of:
Network maintenance tools and methodologies; Network maintenance plans and schedule; Network performance metrics.
To create change/maintenance plans for network updates, expansions and enhancements, within design scope. Take appropriate action to isolate or limit network faults and failures. Resolve network faults and failures following broad recovery principles and procedures. Investigate the causes for unresolved faults and propose solutions that can address.
Requirement And Scoping Analysis :

Traceability matrix; Risk analysis methodologies; Cost Analysis; Business objectives; Classification of requirements; User stories
To explore relevant products/solutions from an existing repertoire, that can address business/technical needs. Assess gaps/ updates/ modifications between the customer/business expectations and the existing product/solutions (in case of agile methodology, for the iteration). Classify the requirements into applicable types (For example – Functional/Non-Functional, Derived/Imposed/Emergent etc.). Anticipate the solution risks / issues during requirements gathering phase, inform relevant stakeholders and recommend corrective steps. Contribute to the creation of user stories for component/application/complex (For agile methodology).
Network Issue Resolution:
Requires knowledge of:
Issue resolution techniques; Escalation scale parameters
To identify and elaborate possible and feasible solutions to the issues raised for complex projects/network configurations. Implement the most feasible option in collaboration with the team. Track registered issues for all ongoing projects and assess on their progress. Assess if the issue needs to be escalated. Participate in Incident review following major Incidents. Identify potential problems and/or increasing trend of repetitive Incidents. Establish continuous process improvement cycles where the process performance, activities, roles and responsibilities, policies, procedures and supporting technologies are reviewed and enhanced where applicable.
Network Design:
Requires knowledge of:
Architectural blueprint design; Evaluate and balance industry standards and best practices with business needs of network – infrastructure designs; Identify optimal topologies, platforms, and protocols; Document associated design decisions and trade-offs.
To analyze organization requirements to determine the infrastructure network parameters and policies needed to support them. Evaluate and optimize network designs created by the team on performance based on expected business needs, usage and traffic volume. Evaluate and document design specific KPIs and Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Establish the SLOs/Service Level Agreement (SLAs) to determine the availability goals of the network systems/services.
Coding :
Requires knowledge of:
Coding standards and guidelines; Coding languages (E.g. JavaScript, Python, C# etc.), frameworks(E.g. ActiveX, .Net, Cocoa, Android application framework etc.), tools(E.g. Monday.com, Linx, Embold etc.) and Platforms (E.g. Microsoft Azure, AWS , Apple IOS etc.); Quality, Safety and Security (PCI etc) standards; Emerging tools and technologies; Telemetry.
To select appropriate frameworks (E.g. ActiveX, .Net, Cocoa, Android application framework etc.), platforms(Microsoft Azure, AWS , Apple IOS etc.), and environments for software coding/configuration and scripting (Applicable to IC & PL). Guide the team on coding patterns, languages and frameworks in line with evolving trends in the industry (Ex: reactive vs. imperative etc.) and drive scalability and security (Applicable to IC & PL). Drive Implementation of telemetry features by determining data/metrics requirement within the domain (Applicable to IC & PL). Support ad-hoc reviews of software code to ensure baseline mitigations for known risks.(Applicable only to IC). Create/configure minimalistic code for entire product/system and ensure the product is meeting business requirements, non-functional requirements, low-maintainability, high-availability and high-scalability needs (Applicable only to IC). Oversee the codes executed by team in line with specified technical/business requirements (Applicable only to IC). Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements (Applicable only to IC). Drive creation of scripts for automation of repetitive and routine tasks in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), Testing or any other process across the domain (Applicable only to IC).

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
