What you will work on…
Design, develop and scale effective methods of reporting, storing and tracking cost data across multiple vendors and business verticals
Create complex models to help forecast vendor costs and performance while accounting for multiple variables
Develop dynamic pricing models with multiple inputs and variables
Effectively track costs and order data over time and identify data trends that inform key business decisions around cost and vendor performance
Work cross functionally with finance, accounting, operations and data science teams to resolve data inaccuracies, streamline reporting and act as a data subject matter expert for other teams
Spearhead auditing automation projects as well as other data automation projects
Help identify the most suitable source for data that is fit for purpose. Perform initial data quality checks on extracted data.
Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues. Develop business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings
Skills required:
Must have extremely strong excel skills, preferably with experience with PowerBI, Python
Must have strong attention to detail and data integrity
Experience creating cost and pricing models
Comfortable with translating business needs into user friendly models and using data to tell stories
Requires knowledge of Analytics/big data analytics / automation techniques and methods; Business understanding; Precedence and use cases; Business requirements and insights.
Must be comfortable with large sets of data that are not always clean.
To translate/ co-own business problems within one’s discipline to data related or mathematical solutions. Identify appropriate methods/tools to be leveraged to provide a solution for the problem.
Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
