You will work with Walmart’s international supply chain teams to identify automation solutions that enhance operations, fulfillment, and transportation facilities. The objective is to use technology like robotics and augmented reality to deliver improved operational service and capacity, while also decreasing variable cost-to-serve.
How you’ll make an impact:
Expert Guidance for Automation Investment and Design Decision through Standardization by Network, Leverage Vendor capabilities and Global Best Practices: Support the design of future supply chain facilities for each market.
Develop and support solutions with market teams to advance and accelerate supply chain changes trough automation and Facility Design Best Practices: “One Best Way” for layout design and Automation of facility components and processes which increases speed and quality of investment decisions that will optimize spend to meet customer promise
Develop and support a sustainable cross-functional team to advance and accelerate supply chain automation
Create Synergies, train and leverage each market to achieve powerful solutions through:
Teach/Train/Mentor
Provide Standardized Language-Tools-Ways of Working-Documentation
Improve Operations through Design and Automation
Engage Markets in automation roadmap
What you’ll bring:
Demonstrated experience identifying automation solutions, designing process layouts using technology, and overseeing the installation of solutions into operations
Knowledge of material handling processes and automation solutions available across the industry
Working knowledge of automation providers and their solution capabilities
Can work with and influence internal leaders across markets/cultures
Can create mutually beneficial relationships with external automation vendors to enable collaborative development of new solutions
Can identify team development needs and provide training that enables their growth

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

Minimum Qualifications…

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and 5 years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area. Option 2: 7
years’ experience in Engineering, supply chain, or a related area.
3 years’ supervisory experience.
