About
the Team/Position
We are
seeking
an experienced and dynamic
Head of Executive Recruiting
to join our team at Walmart
.
Reporting directly to the VP, Talent Acquisition, you will have responsibility for
our
global
executive recruitment
strategy design and implementation.
As the
Head of Executive Recruiting
, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the future leadership landscape of Walmart. Your key responsibilities will include understanding and proactively navigating the potential pool of executive candidates,
establishing
relationships with prospective candidates outside of our organization, and negotiating to attract top-tier talent. You will also play a critical role in
establishing
long-term strategies to integrate executive recruiting efforts across all
countries
we
operate
in
, ensuring a cohesive and efficient approach. Furthermore, you will manage relationships with executive recruiting firms, ensuring we partner with the best to secure exceptional leaders.

Skills
you’ll

Extensive
experience
in Executive
Recruitment
, preferably a mix of in-house
Corporate (Retail industry not
required
, but a plus)
& external search experience
Experience working in and/or with tech-forward companies
Strong leadership qualities, particularly the ability to lead through change & ambiguity

An elevated level
of business acumen and understanding of current executive talent market in Fortune 100 space
Talent attractor qualities, including proactively engaging with candidates, providing a hands-on, white glove experience, and building Walmart’s brand
What
you’ll
do

Build a leading executive recruiting internal capability focusing on quality, insight, delivery,
speed,
diversity,
and advisory capabilities and reducing the dependency on external consulting partners
Partner closely with, and support, Talent Acquisition Delivery Leads to align sourcing and search work to critical leadership needs in each segment
Interface with Senior Leadership and Executives across Walmart, Inc. to execute searches while
maintaining
high levels
of confidentiality and understanding sensitivity of searches in
a highly complex
and sometimes ambiguous environment
Work with People Partners to drive effective executive hiring, inclusive of internal talent mapping opportunities
Provide expert advice and direction to senior leaders on how to attract market
-leading
talent
Engage with candidates in a way that builds the Walmart brand
Work with D&I and lead team to ensure diverse slates, interview teams, and adherence to inclusive practices and protocols; drive efforts consistently to ensure a diverse and inclusive approach and process
Use data and insight to drive approaches to searches
Stay updated with market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent movements within the industry & conduct regular market analysis to
identify
potential candidates
Manage and evolve the processes for executive recruiting to ensure white glove business service and a
remarkable
experience for executive candidates
Partner with succession planning team to support internal and external pipelining and advance our ability to prepare for and fill vacancies with exceptional talent
Network extensively (personally and in leading the team) in the market to
represent
the brand and know the top talent track market relevant talent movement
Lead the team hiring and developing
top notch, sought after
executive recruiters who are deeply knowledgeable about our business, our
processes
and the future of retail
Support board selection work as needed

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
