What you’ll do…
Walmart Connect is seeking an experienced Partner Manager to work with our Home and Hardlines businesses which includes the Home, Home/Kitchen Appliances, Home Décor, Home Improvement, Automotive, Sporting Goods and Office Supplies categories. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with the ability to work cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions for their clients and their team. They would have managed/scaled businesses in these
or similar
verticals and have the capability to manage and motivate a high-performing team. Ideal candidates will have consistent sales management experience as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online marketing solutions such as search, display, video, CTV, and integrated sponsorship. Additionally, the candidate will have experience working within a matrix organization as well as experience in leading, coaching and influencing people.
Candidates must have strong consultative sales skills with C-suite leaders, a collaborative and innovative spirit and be extremely comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
You’ll be tasked with:
Creating a sales strategy for your subset of clients to achieve an annual sales target.
Ensuring alignment with internal and external constituents.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Identifying the ideal product solution set (from our DSP offering and instore).
Budling a learning agenda to drive the customer’s business forward.
Forecasting and analyzing client need to quantify and prioritizing the requirements to industry managers.
You are expected to be regularly engaging with the clients and their agencies to understand general needs and providing appropriate product assistance; consulting with cross functional partners to create customized advertising solutions which meet the customer’s needs; constructing learning agendas with results-driven strategies that can help scale the overall business; tracking against key performance metrics; and assisting in creation of a category playbook to demonstrate how marketers can leverage Walmart offerings.This role will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly.
The ideal candidate will ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of advertiser plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications…

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.
Option 2: Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.
Option 3: 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
