Duties:
Define and execute the vision for Walmart Transportation’s Driver Workload Assignment Product. Perform industry and competitive research to understand the emerging trends in Transportation Optimization to identify new opportunities. Leverage industry knowledge of supply chain planning and optimization to define metrics to measure product and transportation performance. Collaborate with Business, Carriers, Vendors, User Experience, Engineering, and other cross-functional partners to discover value, usability, and feasibility of product features. Specify, prioritize, and communicate high level and detailed product specifications using written specifications, business rules, and flows. Work with Engineering and Program Management partners to implement requirements, run product A/B tests, coordinate product launches, and create the best in Driver Workload Assignment Platform for the Walmart enterprise. Minimize technical debt by tying vision to each individual project. Build platform components in Software as a Service model that can be commercialized with both small and large enterprise clients across domestic and international markets. Train and support users on new product features. Manage close-loop feedback cycles to encompass customer and user comments and needs. Define, track, and improve key product metrics. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required:
Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 3 years of experience in product management;
OR
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.
Skills required:
Experience building technical platform features using knowledge of large scale supply chain planning systems, including Transportation Optimization, Demand Forecasting, and Fulfilment. Experience piloting and testing complex features before rolling out to larger supply chain network. Experience applying optimization and heuristics techniques to understand and communicate problem statements, features, and implications, and get buy in from stakeholders. Experience defining key product and operational metrics to accurately measure product performance and the impact of specific features. Experience using operational knowledge to understand current business processes, suggest changes for improvement, and quantify the impact. Experience building consensus on the vision and overall strategy of a product. Experience socializing product capabilities to build leveragability across products and reduce development costs and time. Experience working with business operation teams to develop training and support strategies and design skills tests for users. Experience analyzing the competitiveness of products in the market and creating benchmarks. Experience creating and monitoring Tableau and Power BI reports and publishing results. Experience using PL/SQL to extract, cleanse, and transform data for analysis. Experience writing SQL queries to test hypothesis.

Salary Range:
$158,746/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
