The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Education Sales team is a key partner across all education sectors (K-12, Higher Ed and Research). You will be a part of the AWS team working with academic and technical education stakeholders implementing cloud computing and associated technologies to scale and support stronger education outcomes.We are looking for a candidate focused on increasing awareness and adoption of AWS in Higher Education and Research. Do you have the drive to help further establish Amazon as the main cloud platform provider with institutions looking to develop and implement their 2025/2030 Digital Futures strategies?Key job responsibilities- Increase adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory- Increase revenue across a portfolio of customers- Drive adoption in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets- Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business- Create and articulate a compelling value propositions to customers- Review sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve the strategy- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement- Build, develop and then execute on an account and territory strategy- Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities- Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accountsA day in the lifeYou will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, identifying and building relationships with key stakeholders, working with internal and cross functional teams to create and present compelling solutions that drive great customer outcomes.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, articulate, passionate about creating great customer outcomes, and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
