Job Description:The candidate will join the Single Process Inventory (SPI) Team within Global Markets COO to lead / manage core SPI risk and control programs. The candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.The SPI Team partners with the Front-Line Unit (FLU), Business Controls, Risk, Audit, and other partners across the organization to ensure the SPI inventory is in adherence to Enterprise standards and drives a comprehensive and consistent approach to process modeling and process enrichment.Core Responsibilities:Assist Process Owners to design, build and improve end to end processes, workflows, controls and metricsDevelop and implement reporting routines using business intelligence toolsIdentify and execute ongoing process improvements and escalate potential issuesPrepare presentation materials and provide analysis for monthly, quarterly and ad hoc forumsAnalyze QA metric results and escalate breaches for commentary and action plansServe as point of contact for exams, risk assessments and issuesCommunicate updates to key stakeholders regarding issues and deliverablesFaceoff with senior stakeholders on SPI operational risk mattersWork with Process Owners, Compliance/Risk, and Business Controls partners to respond and remediate process challenges raised by Global Compliance and Operational Risk (GCOR) within established SLA.Support remediation for SPI related audit issuesSupport ongoing enterprise requirements for SPI & ensure SPI deliverables are completed on timeImplement and maintain policies and proceduresThis position requires the ability to multi-task, assist others with complex items and those that require extensive research, while independently prioritizing his / her workload. Must build strong relationships with Line of Business Partners and understand key business processes and their implications on other groups / divisions within the company. The role will also be expected to think analytically and provide effective solutions to tactical challenges.Requirements / Qualifications:5+ years of experience in process management, business controls or risk management (business, operations, finance, compliance, operational risk, audit)Proven ability to lead and influence with key control partners including Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Business Controls, Legal and AuditStrong analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills – ability to drive root cause analysis, focus on details, identify issues, prioritize quickly and recommend solutionsHighly organized, able to effectively plan/manage deliverables and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work independently – set and manage plans, achieve resultsAdvanced proficiency in various MS tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SharePointAbility to quickly develop subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issuesAbility to influence desired outcome without direct management responsibilitiesBachelor’s Degreeor equivalent work experienceDesired Skills:Global Markets / Sales & Trading experience and knowledge of business processes & productsAbility to build partnerships; resolve conflict with minimal noise with strong awareness of when to escalate to managementDemonstrated professional writing proficiency, strong verbal communication and presentation skillsTrack record of innovative thinkingFamiliarity of operational risk program requirements within a financial institutionShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Pay Transparency detailsUS – NY – New York – ONE BRYANT PARK – BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)Pay and benefits informationPay range$110,000.00 – $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
