As part of our commitment to supporting staff travel to and from work in the most sustainable way possible, we also provide tax saver tickets as part of our award-winning benefits package which means getting to work has never been easier.Job DescriptionAs Business Support Associate you will perform a key role supporting the Global Markets Credit (GMC) organization which is responsible for credit underwriting, ongoing monitoring and portfolio management of Global Markets (GM) financing and traded products transactions.GMC is an organization of 150 people globally with team in all major trading locations of London, New York and Hong Kong. GMC partners directly with Global Markets Front Line Unit (FLU) teams in relation to client selection, structuring and underwriting activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk disciplines while also coordinating engagements with key control partners including Global Risk, Finance, Credit Review and Audit to accordance with our Risk Framework.The successful applicant will join a small, close and high-quality COO team and will support across a range of activities.ResponsibilitiesWork with the GMC COO team to ensure the seamless delivery of GMC mandateCoordinate and deliver on regional and global initiatives/projects that impact multiple industries and productsFocal point of contact for internal stakeholders including Front Line Units and Enterprise functions such as Audit, Risk and TechnologyHelp increase efficiencies, best practices and controls across GMCAssist/lead Credit Officers through various processes including audit reviews, regulatory examinations, and operational initiatives (OpEx)Work with EMEA and Global COO on presenting business strategy, priorities/initiatives and ad-hoc topics to leadership groups within GMC and across the organisationBecome an advisor to Credit Officers within the region on policy and procedural issuesInfluence, develop and maintain successful relations with support partners across the EnterpriseReporting – BAU/thematic reports for internal projects, management updates and regulatory requestsManage recurring routines impacting Global Markets CreditAssist with administrative deliverables (floorplans, headcount planning, readiness)What we are looking forDegree or equivalent required in a relevant subject i.e., Treasury, Business Studies, Finance, Accounting or MathematicsPrevious directly applicable and relatable experience within a similar role and environmentExperience with credit related processes preferred but not a mandatory requirementComfortable in a fast-paced and change-oriented environment with a flexible working manner.
