DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented, self-directed event coordinator to provide program support for our Global Sports & Entertainment Hospitality portfolio. The Hospitality Program Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning, demand generation, execution and optimization of hospitality events we host to accelerate deals and deepen relationships with CxOs from our most strategic customers. This person will serve as the central hub for the global team, ensuring we are executing and communicating with internal stakeholders and external customers consistently across all events and delivering amazing experiences for our customers.
This is a hands-on role, and the ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience project managing and supporting strategic programs and events that deliver an exceptional customer value. The person who fills this role will have project coordination and communications background with a results driven attitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. They will want to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team. You are comfortable learning and mastering different marketing tools for budgeting, reporting, campaign set-up, email, etc. and helping with trouble-shooting for the team and support event execution where needed.
Responsibilities include:
• Customer communication support and management; including ticket management and logistics for our onsite events
• Supports program managers by coordinating demand generation programs for events with our Digital Marketing team
• Support program managers in drafting internal and customer-facing communications such as event invitations, surveys, account manager notifications, etc.
• Support the team with contracting process including legal, tax and security reviews
• Provide customer support for events related to registration, hotel accommodations and ticketing
• Improves project and process efficiencies, while improving team goals
• Attend and provide onsite support for events globally (10% travel)
Basic qualifications
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment.
• Writing and communications skills.
Preferred qualifications
• Outstanding communications skills – written and verbal
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and thrive in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and programs, for example, Salesforce, Marketo, and survey tools, as well as fluency with Outlook, PPT, Word programs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience in a marketing role

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience working with a Content Management System (e.g. Wordpress, Drupla, Joomla, etc.)
– Experience using integrated campaigns to solve brand/business challenges

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $54,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $116,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
