The role:
We are looking for a talented and driven Creative Asset Producer to lead the management of our on-packaging image development and production within the Device Packaging Experience (DPX) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing the workflows and development of: digital assets, rendering, image retouching, and QC. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership, bias for action, have a collaborative spirit, the highest standards, and have backbone.

Key job responsibilities
As a Creative Asset Producer, you will manage the day-to-day imagery, rendering and asset work streams across all programs to ensure production remain on schedule and budget for our Creative Ops team. You will also assist with Digital Asset Management (DAM) responsibilities. You will be the main point of contact between the DPX Creative Ops and VX Design teams and Device Brand Studio. You will establish relationships with stakeholders and collaborate closely with designers, rendering teams, Industrial Designers (ID), product managers, creative program managers, and other managers to support the launch of new and sustaining devices. You will also identify and optimize operational excellence procedures and processes, recommending improvements to packaging assets, workflows, and the systems that support our work; while demonstrating an in-depth understanding of creative post-production workflows.

A day in the life
In this role, you will:
* Manage, scope, and oversee the creative asset production lifecycle and schedules.
* Collaborate with designers, stakeholders and cross functional teams (Program Management, Design, Product, Industrial Design and Marketing), as well as 3rd party vendors to produce device imagery and assets for packaging.
* Maintain asset trackers and sync regularly with cross functional teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on asset production statuses and timing.
* Manage product samples and color matching targets.
* Manage review and approval workflows for product imagery and remove roadblocks/mitigate risks to production.
* Ensure all assets are received, QC’d, and uploaded into asset management system.
* Perform file management and maintain naming conventions and media standards within a DAM system.
* Assist in the administration the day-to-day operations of a DAM system.
* Manage other creative or internal projects as assigned.
* Develop and/or support initiatives to optimize cross team mechanisms, procedures, and best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 4+ years of production experience
* Experience working in a creative agency, in-house creative team, and/or production team in a similar role.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and enthusiastic person who can thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
* Experience leading and facilitating cross-functional imagery reviews, ensuring active participation and diverse perspectives across remote, hybrid and in-person formats.
* Ability to guide the production process across multiple projects and assets.
* Ability to make trade-offs between time, quality, and/or resource.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to audiences across all levels.
* Ability to develop and manage multiple workflows including timelines, budgets, and milestones.
* Experience with retouching/color correction workflows.
* Experience using DAM systems and other project management tools.
* Experience in Adobe Creative Suite applications, with basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and experience working with multiple image and graphic design file formats.
* Experience with web-based proofing tools (Ziflow, ProofHQ, or like).
* Tech savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software tools and workflows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Knowledge of CGI workflows
* Experience in influencing and educating stakeholders across multiple regions
* Soliciting and reviewing bids from 3rd party vendors for accuracy, consistency and initiate SOW’s and PO requests
* Experience forecasting and maintaining asset production budgets.
* Experience with print and/or packaging
* Experience with consumer electronics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
