Join our team and imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. You bring passion and dedication to your job and there’s no telling what you could accomplish.
Apple’s Production Services team serves as a heartbeat of connection, keeping the company united through best-in-class meetings, events, and productions. We handle and operate Campus Conference Center spaces, including conference rooms, theaters, and various indoor and outdoor event spaces. We are committed to delivering world-class experiences that bring our employees together, whether in person, virtually, or through hybrid gatherings; encouraging a sense of community across Apple.
We’re seeking an expert Video Engineer with phenomenal interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude to support theater spaces and high-touch conference rooms across our Santa Clara Valley campus. Do you have deep engineering experience with production routers and switchers, robotic cameras, critical viewing environments, LED walls, and live events? If so, come and do your life’s best work at Apple!
You’ll take ownership to ensure the visual content captured by Production Services achieves high production values. During events in campus theaters, you’ll perform in various operator roles: technical director, robotic camera operator, playback operator, stage manager, and more!
You have a track record delivering high-quality results, with minimal direction, in an environment where expectations are high, timelines are challenging, and details matter. You multi-task and establish priorities, including daily re-prioritization, and don’t need to be reminded to follow-up and follow-through.
During down time, you’ll own preventative maintenance and calibrate systems to guarantee optimum performance. When not actively engaged with productions and venue maintenance, you’ll shift to help the team in various ways, depending on the needs of the day. This includes cross-training to perform in other operator roles and providing high-touch AV support in conference rooms.
You’ll also keep documents updated (e.g., line drawings, SOPs, and service agreements) and assist with system design and specification of gear for various projects.
You are able to remain flexible and prepared for changes to the schedule, including working early mornings, evenings, or weekends, as needed.
