The Principal Product Manager – Technical role is the product lead for demand utilization, ensuring that shoppers discover relevant products, and advertisers reach the right shoppers. The role is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this program and working with strategic partners to create and build innovative experiences.
The person in this role will be required to think big, dive deep, have bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results to Amazon’s advertising solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team, engaging directly with customers of all sizes and teams across the organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
– 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience technical product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
– Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
– Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
– Experience leading products in the space of performance-based advertising using machine learning methods.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
