The Alexa Personality and EQ team is focused on advancing Alexa’s emotional intelligence and social interaction capabilities.

Key job responsibilities
As an Alexa Personality and EQ TPM, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, shaping an assistant that fosters natural and productive interactions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant minds in the fields of AI, ML, and LLM. Partnering with software engineers, applied scientists, designers, and quality assurance, you will work horizontally across Alexa, own mechanisms to prioritize and streamline communication and project delivery across a diverse and highly technical range of Amazon partners. Moreover, you will derive immense satisfaction from working on a product that resonates with your friends and family, one that they can relate to and eagerly anticipate using daily.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 3+ years of software development experience
– 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
– An interest and passion in generative technology, or a demonstrable willingness to learn.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
