The Apple Services Engineering Security team builds and provides secure systems and infrastructure that fuel Apple’s services (such as iCloud, Music, Siri, and the App Store). As part of the ASE Security team, you will help manage the security needs of Apple’s services around the world. You will build and integrate the security controls, guardrails, and frameworks that help protect our customers data in Apple’s infrastructure.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will play an important role in helping us build solutions to a variety of outstanding security challenges in the software supply chain. This a highly collaborative role where you will be working with infrastructure and platform teams to build and integrate security frameworks, tools, and controls. You will be accountable to produce quality software that meet service level objectives.

Your everyday activities will include designing code, testing, estimate, fix, and deploy security services and features. You will also participate in code and security reviews to help your peers to meet high standards for infrastructure at Apple.

You will do research, prototyping and present ideas and designs to your team, management, and internal customers.

5+ years of work experience in infrastructure or security engineeringExperience in software supply chain engineeringExperience using development and integration processes (CI/CD)Proficiency in the following languages: Golang, JavaExperience working with and understanding design of distributed systems with high performance and availabilityExperience with gRPCExperience operating Linux and macOS, and scripting languages like BashUnderstanding principles of building and deploying software, process, and monitoring (SDLC)
