We’re looking for a senior-level writer to help oversee global transcreation and creative localization, working across all Apple products and services, from the website to video, retail and film.
With the Localization Creative Director (CD), in this role you’ll help lead the transcreation of US creative work for 40+ languages, ensuring that the brand is communicated consistently and that we’re speaking in a way that’s culturally relevant for each market and language.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Collaborate closely with US writers, CDs, and many functional teams in Marcom and across Apple on launch and ongoing projects.
Provide creative direction and support to an international team of writers and editors to make sure they’ve got the brand and creative information they need to do their best work.
Brief and review translated headlines for 40+ languages, back translated into English.
Work with our localization team on to help develop and improve tools and processes to optimize copy localization, including for machine translation and learning.
7+ years experience working in creative localization on an international level with other writers and editors in a marketing communications organization.Direct experience transcreating and editing headlines and copy from US English and/or working with creative translations.
