Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) at Amazon is at the forefront of creating, securing, and maintaining advanced technical infrastructure and devices. These innovations span across Amazon’s diverse landscape, including Fulfillment Centers, Transportation, Logistics, Specialty Fulfillment, Air, and Pharmacy sectors. Our skilled operators count on OTS to test, certify, deploy, and sustain state-of-the-art network solutions and end-user equipment at approximately 2,500 global sites where Amazon thrives. Sr. Product Manager – Technical will be responsible for owning the technical roadmap for key technology initiatives for OTS Delivery. This includes the implementation and enhancement of our ITSM, SPM and FSM platform, ServiceNow, the development of multiple hardware and software systems that enable fulfillment operations to maintain hardware assets and devices, and the development of operational facing tools that support fulfillment productivity. This leader will work closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions to support the organization’s strategic objectives around improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost optimization.
Key job responsibilities
– Contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategies related to a product
– Lead the development and execution of a bold product strategy and vision for the next generation of devices and services
– Lead initiatives in various stages of the lifecycle – from ideation to development to launch
– Define creative, high quality, and long term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
– Develop detailed and crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture
– Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational load
– Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals
– Drive decision making and product launches in partnership with Engineering, UX, Operations, Business – Development, Go to Market, PR, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams
– Create buy-in for the product vision and strategy with leadership and internal partners
– Position requires Travel up to 25 %.

You will work with our internal partners (e.g. engineering) to make product decisions, and with our external partners (hardware, go to market, etc) to launch products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 8+ years of product management experience
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
– 5+ years of experience in deploying ServiceNow ESC portal – UX/UI and Virtual Agent
– Requires travel 25% to Amazon Fulfillment Centers
– Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
– MBA
– Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
