DESCRIPTION

Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented Marketing Program Manager with the drive and enthusiasm to manage the execution launch campaigns that raise awareness for AWS services, features, and key messaging pillars. This is a unique opportunity to play a key, visible role in an exciting, fast-growing business. The program manager will collaborate cross functionally with numerous AWS stakeholders like solution architects, marketing managers, and partners. The Program Manager will build a calendar to coordinate the delivery of a series of virtual campaigns to grab the attention of customers and prospects. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for creating special events and will have a hands-on approach to plan and execute them at the highest level.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who thrives on working in complex and challenging environments of a rapidly evolving business. They need to be organized and programmatic in their approach, comfortable in managing multiple projects, and thrive in a high-pressure and fast paced environment.

This position must sit in Seattle, WA. Relocation assistance offered from within the US to this location only.

Key job responsibilities
Ability to execute events while seeking the right programmatic approach to scale – Align event activities with business priorities across stakeholder groups, including interfacing directly with sales leadership and sales teams.

• Manage the event agency relationship and build processes for repeatable and scalable event activities
• Execute events with operational and logistical excellence
• Define the program strategy, goals and align stakeholders
• Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design and implement programs that positively impacts business growth and enhance AWS reputation.
• Manage and establish best practice processes for all digital and social media presences

About the team
Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
