Our group is looking for a highly motivated Performance Engineer to optimize software design for Apple’s latest products, including the next generation of Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

As a key member of Connectivity Firmware Performance team you will work on software design, testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization! The work involves devising performance evaluation methodologies on SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and making recommendations for implementing in software based on trade-off analysis at a system & product level.

Strong understanding in one of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, or related protocolsBackground or research experience in RF, Digital, and Wireless communicationsExperience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issuesExperience with Python for testing, data analysis, and visualizationKnowledge of TCP/IP protocol suiteBS Electrical engineering, Computer engineering, Software engineering, or Computer Science
