DESCRIPTION

Amazon seeks a Program Manager to drive new initiatives and program launches for the Amazon Logistics (AMZL) North America Central Operations Team. The Program Manager will be a key member of strategic initiatives that will continue to improve last-mile demand planning processes to scale for rapidly increasing volume and complexity.

Specifically, this role will support process development and optimization of intraweek planning (forecasting, scheduling, capacity management) for emerging business lines.

*This role requires travel up to 15% of the quarter.

Key job responsibilities
– Drive strategic initiatives that will improve last-mile processes around forecasting and demand planning
– Create and present a roadmap that aligns with Amazon’s strategic objectives with regional leadership
– Analyze root cause and determine long-term solutions
– Drive action based on analytical, mathematical, and quantitative data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
– 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
