You’ll be a part of the Apple Product Security team at the forefront of Apple’s security response capabilities, impacting the breadth of Apple’s ecosystem by working on immediate risks to Apple’s customers. Our team works with some of the best security engineers around the world, and you’ll have a direct impact on improving the security of Apple’s products.

You will join a team that passionately protects Apple and our customers from all emerging security threats. You will be focused on triaging security and privacy issues at scale to find, communicate about, handle, recover from, and learn from security incidents. You will cover the gamut of Apple’s software, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS and more.

To be successful in this role, you will need to exercise technical agility. Staying up to speed on new, cutting edge security research and how it applies to our products. Competitive candidates will demonstrate strong drive to solve hard problems, sound judgement under pressure, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication skills. You will need to coordinate between many stakeholders, set expectations for deliverables from many different teams, and take ownership of security initiatives.

In this role, you will:
Communicate with external security and privacy researchers about details of their security reports, impact, and resolution plans.
Assist in triaging externally reported software vulnerabilities.
Coordinate vulnerability disclosures across companies and individuals.
Track upcoming software releases to ensure the correct content is included in the product’s security advisory (https://support.apple.com/100100).
Set an example for positive, consistent, and effective communications with researchers.
