DESCRIPTION
Amazon Private Brands (APB) is a fast-growing global business that is rapidly improving and expanding our brand offering to delight our customers. Our team is looking for an analytical and customer focused business intelligence engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical techniques to raise the bar on Marketing initiatives as it relates to Private Brands. You will use your experience to develop solutions including ETLs, reports, dashboards, and analyses. In this role you will build data solutions to inform business outcomes with a primary focus on optimizing our traffic/marketing channels.
This role requires an individual to have strong (ideally marketing-specific) analytical skills and experience, which can be combined to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. He or she will know how to quickly develop data solutions that improve customer and business outcomes. This person should also be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and partners including data scientists, software development engineers, and brand/category owners.
Key job responsibilities
– Lead evolution of Marketing P0 and WBR reports, used to track performance of all Marketing & Discovery initiatives across Private Brands.
– Build and manage data efficient pipelines that support the broader M&D organization
– Support the broader Marketing & Discovery (M&D) organization’s tooling and reporting, including traffic channel reporting, channel-specific dashboards, P0s, etc.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
– Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
– Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
– Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
– Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
– Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
