Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $35.50/hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure. Key job responsibilities
– Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts
– Verify all materials are packaged/bagged and tagged for hand off to the production floor
– Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies
– Communicate with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems
– Assist in managing shortages for clear to kit availability and floor stock replenishment
– Continuous improvement to streamline and improve results of stock availability
– Identify and resolve data quality issues
– Exhibit a constant passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
– Prepare and provide data driven reviews to management
– Willing to work all shifts, including evenings and weekends, depending on business needs

A day in the life
The Kuiper team is looking for warehouse planners to facilitate visual inventory management, collaborate and assist in process improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in SAP (S4Hanna) materials requirements planning (MRP) systems, has an understanding of business acumen and judgment, analytical abilities, written, verbal communication skills and awareness to various cross-functional organization inter-dependencies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– High school diploma or equivalent
– 1+ years of experience in SAP (S4Hanna)
– 1+ year in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control or related experience
– 1+ year experience using Microsoft Excel, able to navigate and interpret data
– Able to lift up to 49 pounds
– Able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours

– Curious to learn in depth about both technology and our customers
– A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,160/year in our lowest geographic market up to $80,080/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
