We’re looking for a Principles Product Manager (Tech) who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry and will help us develop products and innovate on behalf of the customer. As Principle PM, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary team and ring-fenced tech team to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive discovery & shopping experiences for our customers.

Key job responsibilities
· Own the end-to-end development of new products from definition to implementation
· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
· Closely cooperate with our tech team on building the overall product roadmap, and manage prioritization and trade-offs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market
· Lead development of specifications and requirements for key components of new automotive discovery & shopping experiences
· Write product documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams

A day in the life
In this role you will collaborate with the team to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of customer experiences on Amazon.
This role is inherently cross-functional – You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to bring new products to our customers.
You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational, and financial aspects of your programs.

About the team
We are a newly formed team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection.
We’re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience managing technical products or online services
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
