Are you passionate about innovating on Accessibility at Amazon? We are looking for talented Technical Program Managers who want to lead and deliver cross-cutting Accessibility programs across all of the Worldwide Books and Kindle organization.

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and talented program managers who have experience with mission-critical, high volume applications that customers love. You will have an chance to work with world-class engineers, product managers, business leaders, and other talented engineering teams as you focus on improving the accessibility features of our products.

Your primary focus will be delivering features that improve product accessibility. You will have the opportunity to work across a large organization, solving problems at scale, and defining new technical approaches. This role is pivotal in driving projects that make products easier to use for millions of customers.

Key job responsibilities
1. Own complex, cross-org programs that are transforming our products
2. Drive alignment across senior leaders, create and maintain detailed work backward plans.
3. Collaborate with TPMs and SDMs on roadmaps, priorities, planning, dependency mapping, forecasting, and tradeoffs
4. Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates to senior leadership on project status, milestones, and adjustments
5. Engage with Sr. SDEs and Principal Engineers to evaluate technical decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
