Are you a sales professional with a proven track record of driving cloud services adoption? Amazon Web Services is seeking experienced Account Managers to help enterprise companies harness the power of the cloud. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and customer obsessed approach to drive adoption of cloud services. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique business needs and objectives, then craft tailored solutions that enable them to achieve their goals through the cloud. Key job responsibilities
Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical
Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory/engagement plan
Leverage your prospecting expertise to develop and execute strategic sales campaigns that drive new business opportunities
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services Accelerate customer adoption
Maintain a robust sales pipeline
Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
Manage contract negotiations
Build deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders – including business decision-makers and technical leaders – within your assigned accounts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of technical sales in B2B environments, in a solution-sales / technology-related environment experience – Knowledge of existing and developing technologies – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent – Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– AWS Certification (Cloud Technologist, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, Developer)
– Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS
– Experience with proactive lead generation
