We are looking for a customer-obsessed Program Manager, Store Communications to support Amazon’s Go Stores business. The ideal candidate will come with a strong track record of delivering effective corporate to store communications and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations. Robust understanding of physical retail store operations is a key requirement for a successful candidate. You are results oriented and have thrived and succeeded in operating a new business in a highly ambiguous environment. You know how to be scrappy but operate as part of a larger team and business. You will own the development of new processes by leveraging best practices and benchmarks. You demonstrate high judgement, ability to influence, analytical and leadership skills and exceptional communication skills. You are willing to always focus on the customer and take a strong stance to ensure deliverables to stores meet a high bar. You enjoy diving deep and using data to identify opportunities and guide improvements.

The Role: You will run the communications program and focus on several aspects of an overall communication strategy: task management, business news letters, store to corporate feedback, uphold communication quality, setup reporting and create standards for content management. You will interact closely with the business team and identify/manage critical projects that improve productivity, increase capacity, and drive efficiency improvements for Operations.

Key job responsibilities
– Review and publish communications for routine and new initiatives. Setup mechanisms to scale this process
– Create and maintain processes for SOP and content review
– Setup training to improve writing quality for store deliverables
– Maintain internal content management system and task management system
– Setup review process for upcoming changes with the relevant stakeholders

About the team
Amazon Go is a new kind of convenience store with no lines and no checkout – you just grab and go! Customers simply enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go! No lines, no checkout. (No, seriously.)

This role will be a part of Central operations team, supporting day to day operations for our stores.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of program or project management experience
– 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
– Experience working cross functionally with business, HR, finance and support teams
– Excellent written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of operational and/or retail management experience
– 3+ years of change management experience
– Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
– Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
