DESCRIPTION
As a member of the Enterprise Engineering’s you will be collaborating across numerous Amazon teams surrounded by people who are passionate about optimizing services critical to Amazonians success and productivity improvement.
Enterprise Engineering is looking for a team member for the administration, maintenance, and development of the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate is innovative and has great problem-solving skills. You must be comfortable working on core application administration, creating workflows, data management, scripting, integrations and process automation. You will work with non-technical and technical teams to translate business cases to scalable solutions for multiple teams. In addition, you’ll need to be able to clearly communicate on system changes and enhancements. You will be working in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift quickly. You must be flexible and adapt well to a wide range of tasks and technologies.
Key job responsibilities
The ServiceNow Developer will contribute to the following core team areas:
• Perform technical administration and maintenance of ServiceNow IT Business Management.
• Partner with cross functional teams to build enhancements and integrations that scale.
• Create ServiceNow workflows and business rules for service improvements.
• Interface with ServiceNow for all operational requests / issues / planning.
• Lead ServiceNow release upgrades, system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
• Mentor team members on design, and estimating activities in ServiceNow IT Business Management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience.
• Certified ServiceNow developer certification is required.
• 3+ years of direct experience with the ServiceNow platform as a developer and/or comparable role.
• 3+ Experience with JavaScript, Python or Perl
• 3+ Experience with integration design patterns of web service integrations using REST, SOAP
• 3+ Experience with AWS Services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years’ experience in multiple areas of technology, including application administration, configuration, and/or data services.
• 6+ years of experience with Agile scrum/Kanban methodology.
• Experience customizing or developing reports from data residing in relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
