The Sr Program Manager – Global Self-ID will spearhead our global initiatives surrounding SID for both candidates and employees. In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee the Global SID program, driving awareness, amplification, and engagement of the program to promote and assist with diversity and inclusion (DEI) across Amazon. Your efforts play a crucial role in fostering a culture of belonging and equity and driving our company’s DEI objectives forward.
Key job responsibilities
– Develop and implement strategies and programs for global SID of diversity for candidates and employees
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DEI initiatives into technology
– Analyze data related to diversity metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
– Partner with HR, recruitment, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of DEI goals with overall business objectives
– Serve as a subject matter expert on SID best practices and trends, both internally and externally
– Develop and lead efforts to educate employees on the importance of DEI and promote cultural competence
– Travel nationally and internationally, as needed (~10%)
About the team
The Equal Employment (EEP) team is a risk & compliance team within Inclusion, Experience, & Technology (IXT). The team is a frontline to Employment Legal for ensuring fairness and equity across Amazon’s recruitment and employment practices. The team provides consultative services as a subject matter expert in equal employment and affirmative action practices, laws, and regulations; (2) conducts continuous data and process improvement initiatives among the various business lines and corporate functions; and (3) coordinates audit responses and required reporting and analysis for the US, CAN, AUS, and LUX. The team’s initiatives range from policy development to diversity recruitment programs.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Experience implementing or managing self-ID, DEI, or related programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards related to DEI

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
