DESCRIPTION

The Seller Growth Team is a growing business-tech team, focused on accelerating the growth of Sellers by providing tools and insights that enable them to make better and faster decisions at each step of selection management. Our Sellers are both small and large businesses, who rely on success in the Amazon marketplace for their livelihood, and who we treat as our Customers. We build software solutions with established Sellers in mind, and make these solutions available to all Sellers. We also make all of our solutions available WW, so that our Sellers around the world have access to the best tools to accelerate their growth.

This Principal, Product Manager Tech owns critical components of our analytics infrastructure, and is responsible of both defining the vision and measuring the effectiveness and success of the solution. This person is an expert in technical Product Management and has the ability to develop, lead, and inspire others to the highest standards of deliverables and in collaborating effectively with end-users, customers, engineers, scientists, designers and senior leadership.

Ideal candidates will think big and have a strong bias for action, while earning trust through their desire to learn and be curious, invent and simplify, dive deep, insist on highest standards and work back from the customer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
– 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
– Experience with end to end product delivery
– Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products; Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making; Advanced degrees in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
