Amazon’s Consumer Payments team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead critical programs supporting our payments offerings in emerging markets. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to design, build, and deliver scalable payment solutions for our customers in high-growth regions like Brazil, Mexico. This will include driving the development of new payment methods, integrating with local payment processors, and enhancing the overall payments experience for Amazon customers in Brazil. You will ensure operational excellence, drive innovation, and deliver high-impact results that delight our customers. Key job responsibilities
* Manage complex, cross-functional programs and projects to deliver new payment capabilities and enhancements for the Brazil market
* Partner with engineering, product, and other teams to define roadmaps, requirements, and success criteria for Brazil payments initiatives
* Establish processes and governance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and risk mitigation for Brazil payments projects
* Communicate progress and blockers to senior leadership, and drive issue resolution to keep Brazil payments programs on track
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency in Brazil payments operations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 3+ years of software development experience
– 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
