DESCRIPTION
Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and implementing Supply Chain Programs. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
Key job responsibilities
– Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, legal, finance, quality and trade compliance in order develop and implement key Supply Chain operations programs.
– Prioritize projects and activities against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
– Effectively lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture and follow-up activity coordination.
– Lead supply chain discussions, ask probing questions, and work with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and solutions to issues.
– Communicate clearly and effectively to peers and leadership on the plans, status, and critical issues.
– Demonstrate leadership and ability to navigate through complex problems, weighing various priorities and options
Export Control Requirement:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of program or project management experience
– 5+ years of supply chain experience
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
– Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
– Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
– Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
