DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services is seeking an Industry Technical Enablement Lead to empower AWS Industries technical account teams to engage and sell to customers by increasing overall go-to-market effectiveness and accelerating growth through ongoing industry, new hire sales readiness, and sales productivity programs. This high visibility role encompasses both developing enabling assets, guidance, programs and processes for account teams, while also owning execution of each initiative individually and/or in concert with cross-functional team members.
Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for co-delivering a technical enablement strategy and programs to accelerate growth by strengthening technical skills, optimizing and accelerating new hire sales readiness/effectiveness, accelerating growth through AWS Partners and ProServe, advocating for the Field with cross functional teams and working to rally the organizations around the voice of the field.
The role is aligned to support an industry field organization, where you will have an opportunity to combine a passion for problem solving, creating scalable mechanisms, facilitating sales productivity programs (live and virtually), and enthusiasm for technology to drive learning and establish positive stakeholder relationships with new and tenured field employees.
This role also leverages cross functional resources and internal teams, including business operations, sales leadership/management, project/program managers, and marketing, in order to gain leverage, drive programs and business impact.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of working in a sales enablement environment
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
– Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
– Experience defining, refining and implementing technical sales programs, demos, and workshops
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of working as a technical seller, or supporting technical sellers in enablement
– Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
