DESCRIPTION

Concession Abuse Prevention (CAP) works to identify and eliminate concession abuse while preserving customer trust. We are looking for a hands-on, detail oriented and highly motivated Operation Support Data Analyst to help report key metrics and provide insights from audits. This role requires candidate to have strong analytical skill and exceptional business communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
This individual will be:
1. Creating, assisting and continuously improving reports and metrics that assist the team operations
2. Converting data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like Quicksight/Tableau
3. Shaping and delivering key metrics, reports, and indicators by which operation team will assess its performance
4. Diving deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages
5. Conduct audits on a regular basis. Identify root cause of defects and find areas of improvements in the process being audited.
6. Provide results of audits with Operations and Program teams on a daily/weekly basis.

About the team
You will be part of the CAP Data & Insights team with another business analysts and business intelligence engineers. This team assists the CAP Program, Product, and Operations. The team works in Sprint mechanism and has standard mechanisms to scale and standardize reporting across WW CAP Operations. The team’s preferred BI tool is QuickSight.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma
• English Language Proficiency.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in Data Analysis
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw insights
• Ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required
• Be self-driven, and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or any other STEM field
• Proficient with reporting tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau or Power BI
• An ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment
• Solid communication skills and team player
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize workload

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $35,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $56,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
