The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities
The WWSO team is looking for a Business Manager that will be the AWS Industries (AWSI) priority domain/pillar Specialist Point of Contact, focused on defining, establishing, and facilitating implementation of internal business mechanisms to enable specialist team’s service adoption and business goals. The business manager will dive deep in priority domains to identify cross industry trends, opportunities, drive critical domain Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives for AWSI, provide business insights to stakeholders, support and drive stakeholder aligned Key Performance Indicators (KPI), in addition to facilitating revenue bridge exercises for the Pillar. Working hand-in-hand with AWSI Pillar teams, worldwide team, and key internal stakeholders such as Individual Business Units (IBU), sales operations, marketing and finance, you will help drive, cross industries, the most impactful and scalable programs and mechanisms for domain/ pillar. This role will manage expectations, build great relationships with others, and will roll up their sleeves to find solutions and get things done.

• Serve as a key member for the AWSI team working with the Worldwide Specialist team focused on driving domain initiatives and KPIs while acting as the Pillar feedback loop for AWSI and WW team.
• Envision, propose and assist in the creation of new mechanisms, processes, and programs to improve stakeholder experience, AWSI team effectiveness, and business performance
• Work closely with industry specialists, IBU teams and cross-functional stakeholders to define, execute, and continually improve our business programs and ensure we are delivering results for our customers
• Prepare and deliver business insights and recommendations to drive business results and key updates to the AWSI domain / Pillar leads and WW teams.
• Work with WW team to track progress, including escalating domain roadblocks and challenges to achieving goals and growing our business
• Define, organize, launch, and facilitate various business domain forums to facilitate business dive deeps
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to define and track objectives, goals and deliverables
• Clearly articulate recommendations, mechanism objectives, goals and progress to upper management
• Strive for high standards and continuously work to simplify and improve

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
