Key job responsibilities
• Leverage mobility tax expertise to design and implement high-impact solutions, strategies, and policies that improve the employee and stakeholder experience while maintaining compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex mobility tax issues, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
• Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and curiosity.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the mobility tax knowledge of relevant teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, simplifying and streamlining mobility tax operations.

As a Mobility Tax Manager, you will be a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mobility tax compliance or a related field.
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of mobility tax, payroll, and equity reporting considerations for mobile employees.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, delivering to Senior leaders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, EA) in a relevant field.
• Experience working in a multinational or global organization.
• Proven track record of improving organizational compliance while enhancing the employee experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
