Amazon Scaling Products, Innovation, and Recruiter Efficiency (ASPIRE) team is a part of Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) organization building the systems used by recruiters and interviewers to help Amazon scale its hiring processes. We build services that will be the foundation for future hiring systems and accelerate the replacement of legacy recruiting systems. Besides Hire, Amazon’s recruiting web site, we also own amazon.jobs candidate experience website, marketing tech for corporate recruiting, internal referrals, and automated interview questions. This allows for visibility into the end-to-end recruiting pipelines – from candidates to recruiters and hiring managers.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) on our team, you will enable transparency and decision-making across Amazon’s recruiting teams by providing critical communication and clear status of the initiatives you own. Working closely with and across agile teams, you will have a measurable impact on all of our customers. You will work directly with developers and customers to solve challenging problems by building software using the latest technologies, such as Gen AI. You will make data-driven decisions and prioritize how and when to build features and work with leadership across Amazon to drive an improved customer experience for our candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers! This position can be based in Seattle, WA, Arlington, VA, or Vancouver, Canada.
Key job responsibilities
As a TPM on the team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition, vision, design, roadmap and development of product features from beginning to end. You will:
– Work with the team to help drive business decisions.
– Work with the team to develop innovative software solutions to transform service performance, compliance, durability, cost, and security.
– Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, and identify opportunities to improve business processes through software automation.
– Collaborate on our technology roadmap, turn visions into reality.
– Participate in Agile development.

Amazon Scaling Products, Innovation, and Recruiter Efficiency (ASPIRE) optimizes recruiting activities that deliver bar-raising candidates to Amazon hiring managers fast and cost-effectively. We do this through products that increase efficiency across hiring demand, attraction, and in the recruiting funnel. Wherever possible, we use data science decisioning and automated activities to attract and nurture prospective candidates to Amazon, guide candidates that visit the amazon.jobs career site to the right job, and enable recruiters to focus on high-value interactions with candidates.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
– 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
– 3+ years of software development experience
– 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
– Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
– Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
– Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
