Our focus is to ensure individuals are never surprised by the personal data we collect, process and share. Everything we do is based on that focus. This leader acts as a privacy subject matter expert and works with legal and technology to ensure customer trust and privacy is factored into all decisions.

Key job responsibilities
– Support privacy awareness, communications and content creation for WW Ops Privacy Services.
– Support the overall development and maturation of the WW Ops Privacy Services Program.
– Support the WW Ops PBR Program as a subject matter expert and to help embed privacy accountability in the business and accelerate informed privacy decision making.
– Help build and scale the Privacy Bar Raiser (PBR) program for WW Ops.
– Support holistic privacy reviews for new and existing applications in Ops
– Maintain an understanding of privacy regulatory and industry developments.
– Perform operational deep dives on privacy-related processes and systems.
– Identify, gather, track, and report privacy metrics.
– Manage several projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.
– Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– Bachelor’s Degree
– 3+ years in Privacy

– Former role in privacy with knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements and standards
– 3+ years leading projects with tight deadlines that involve the use of automated and manual systems and supporting internal customers across the globe

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Professional certifications in privacy (IAPP)
– Ability to work on a diverse team or with a diverse range of coworkers
– Written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work with little to no supervision
– Proven knowledge of domestic and global privacy regulations and applying them in a technology environment.
– Experience developing and maintaining business unit scorecards
– Experience with audit, metrics, and dashboards a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
