DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a smart, creative and driven PR leader to run Consumer PR campaigns for the Amazon Devices & Services business. In this role, you will manage programs targeting lifestyle media and influencers in support of brands across the Amazon Devices portfolio, including Alexa, Fire TV, Kindle, Blink and Ring.
You will have significant experience building and executing successful consumer campaigns, creative news generation, and a proven record of strategic planning (informed, where possible, by data). This is a role high on Think Big, Invent & Simplify and Ownership—the successful candidate will be able to build a robust proactive roadmap of planned activities across multiple product groups, work fast, Deliver Results, demonstrate strong judgement and have exceptional attention to detail. As this is a cross-org role, this leader also needs to be able to work collaboratively and productively with a matrix of PR and business partners, with proven experience managing a team, as well as external agencies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 12+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field

• Extensive knowledge of the consumer and technology landscape
• Demonstrated ability to develop proactive and creative PR campaigns

• Ability to develop hooks/angles/campaigns that will be of interest to press

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $246,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
