DESCRIPTION
Amazon is seeking a Learning & Development Program Manager to join our North American Transportation organization within the Learning and Development Team. If you are an energetic and passionate educational content developer with experience managing programs, filming and editing original learning content, building e-learnings, possess strong communication skills, and work with an entrepreneur’s mindset we’d like to speak to you.
This role provides the opportunity for broad exposure to various business and technical teams across Amazon Operations.
Key job responsibilities
– Analyze, design and develop e-learning platforms and web-based training materials using software such as Vyond and Articulate Storyline
– Film, edit, and produce original e-learning content
– Document processes, technical workflows, and graphics-intense procedural instructions which support core business processes and improve operational efficiency
– Build web portals and learning objects to onboard and assimilate new hires to the team
– Conceptualize, design, launch, and maintain technical trainings and certifications to upskill and reskill the internal end-users
– Maintain Learning Management System (LMS) and triage technical glitches in its day-to-day operations
– Engage the right stakeholders, customers, and partner teams to communicate with and impact critical business initiatives, and craft and deliver cross-functional, scalable solutions
– Own and manage the lifecycle of new and existing programs/initiatives, successfully delivering concurrent projects aligned with business objectives
– Proactively identify opportunities to continuously improve program quality, efficiency and operational excellence
– Assist in the compilation and narrative writing for key initiatives to senior leadership

About the team
The mission of the team is to increase development and effectiveness of Global Transportation Services by building learning, analytical, and business products. We start with our customers and work backwards to create products that meet the learning objectives, but also bring the fun and engagement. This often requires team members to lean on their problem solving and creative skills to overcome challenges and Deliver Results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
– 1+ years of program or project management experience
– 1+ years of experience in a training role, preferably technical training
– Experience in a major corporate training environment working on instructional design assignments
– Experience delivering training to both individuals and groups
– Experience implementing full training life cycle in order to improve organizational training initiatives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with developing training documentation (lesson plans, procedures, reports, etc.)
– 2+ years demonstrated Adult Learning and Curriculum Design/Improvement experience
– Knowledge of HTML/CSS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
